working with Melody Woodnutt – on “Love and other Ecologies”

I have recently been reflecting on acts of collaboration. Towards the end of 2014, I had the wonderful opportunity to work with international globe trotter, entrepreneur, residency organiser and most important, artist and fantastic human being, Melody Woodnutt.

The weeks of collaboration culminated in an evening of art – it was 23 August, 2014 @ the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Art in Brisbane.

The experience left me reflecting upon my solo practice, how this has transitioned so greatly from the collaborations that were so natural when I worked in music, and how now, there may be away to combine them.
